KOTUG International live with TugVision365

In September 2023, we started implementing the latest version of TugVision365 at KOTUG International B.V. (KOTUG). KOTUG is an innovative and leading maritime family company offering its towing and maritime services worldwide.

Partnership for 10 years!

In 2014, KOTUG and Logic Vision kicked off what has now been a 10-year partnership.
This partnership resulted in TugVision365 and KOTUG is the first company that has been using TugVision365.
At that time, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central was still called Microsoft Dynamics NAV and TugVision365 was still in its infancy. We are proud of this long-term partnership and very pleased with the pleasant and constructive cooperation.

Cloud-based Microsoft software

After 10 years, KOTUG is also the first company to be live with the latest version of TugVision365 based on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, entirely in the cloud! By choosing TugVision365 in the cloud, KOTUG invests in the future and benefits from the automatic updates in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

ERP implementation
KOTUG consists of several companies in different countries grouped and distributed across several databases:

To maintain these databases and to prevent data entry in multiple places we use Wormhole from Verosoft Design for synchronisation.

Go live Single Ship Companies
In May this year, we started with the implementation of TugVision365 for Single Ship Companies. In these companies, the investments, costs and revenues of the KOTUG tugs are booked. 

Internet coverage on the ocean
Internet coverage is very important for KOTUG's tugs sailing worldwide. By using Starlink, all databases are connected in real time. 

Live operation and operational tugs
In June this year, the first operational company and operational tugs in Australia went live with the functionalities below:

• Crewing Operations
• Documentation
• ICT Architecture
• Interfaces
• Planned Maintenance
• Procurement and Warehousing
• Quality Health Safety Environment Reporting

Over the next months, a go live is planned every month for several of KOTUG's operating companies and ships.
