Last month, Vollenhoven, a family-owned business from Tilburg that has been active in the lubricants and (bio)fuels industry since 1895, successfully went live with the upgrade from NAV to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central with FuelVision365. Vollenhoven now operates with an up-to-date ERP system featuring new functionalities and the latest technology. Thanks to the excellent collaboration and thorough, consistent testing by the Vollenhoven team, the go-live process was exceptionally smooth.
Optimalisation of business process in a flexible way
The energy sector continues to evolve rapidly. While gas stations previously focused primarily on offering gasoline and diesel, today they are often equipped with modern convenience stores and charging stations for electric vehicles. These changes to gas stations also bring new demands and requirements for the software landscape.
With Vollenhoven now leveraging the latest functionalities in Business Central and FuelVision365, optimizing business processes has become significantly easier. One example is the ability to create interfaces with other systems, such as CRM platforms and potential new systems, for instance, for managing the administration of electric charging.
The upgrade provides flexibility and enables swift adaptation to new developments. Another example is the FuelVision365 Point of Sale extension, which is used to manage unmanned gas stations, from sending price updates to processing fuel and charging cards.
